The United Nations Annual Results Report 2010, provides an overview of the United Nation’s work carried out over 2010. The report presents a comprehensive review of the results achieved. It further provides an overview of all agencies with operations in the country; lists all UN projects that are currently being implemented; and provides an overview of the status of ratification of UN International Human Rights Treaties and other related instruments.
The results are set against the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), developed in cooperation with the Government in 2009, and signed by the UN and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 29 April 2009.
Throughout the year, UN Agencies and Organisations worked to accomplish some impressive development results across our three priority sectors: social inclusion, local governance and environmental protection. Programmes in these areas valued at $US17 million were delivered over the course of the year.
